Thanks in advance, Robbin Sponsor Mz Migraine 01-10-2007, 09:29 PM Whichever way is easier for you. I applied over the phone & they mailed the forms to me to complete. Over the phone they took my *initial* information like if I wanted direct depost or my SSD check mailed to my home if I was approved. I did drop my initial app off at my local SS office & that place was like a mad house. :dizzy:  After that fiasco, I mailed all future forms. countrykid 01-15-2007, 08:47 AM We found it to be easier over the internet for the initial applying. They then mailed out the additional forms needed and we returned them by mail. Since we both our disabled (applied at different times) my interview was at the office and my husbands was over the phone. I dread going to the SS office unless you HAVE an appointment time. Otherwise you wait your turn just to get a form or ask a question, or drop off a needed document. I waited 2 hours just to get my hubby'd Birth certificate copied (I was afraid of it getting lost in the mail). But as was said in the last post which ever is better for you. |
