Does anyone find their child sleeping in strange places? my son is 3 1/2 and when he gets up during the night to go to the bathroom he has problems putting his PJ's back on. Instead of calling us he just goes to sleep on the bathroom floor and I often find him there asleep and cold. So my question was does anyone elses child do this and do you have suggestions on how to prevent it (its -20c here in the alps and a little too cold for no PJ?s)

This is a bit strange. You may have to do a little trial and error, trying things and see if that works. My first thought is to put a pile of blankets in the bathroom so at least he will be warm. This might give him the idea it's ok to sleep in the bathroom, but then again, it might alert him to the choice he has. At the very least, it will prevent him from being so cold.
Another thought is to somehow rig the bathroom door, maybe with a motion sensor, so that you know when he goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night and you can get up to make sure he puts his pj's back on and gets back into his bed.

My 8 year old brother does taht sort of thing, he sleeps on teh floor, without a pillow, in his jeans, with no shirt or socks on.
he must get cold, but he says he likes it just fine that way.

What about easier pj's? Maybe a flannel nightshirt so its warm yet he just needs to lift it up to use the toilet?
