Hi,

I am so sick of my hair anymore I just want to pull it all out.

I started getting gray at the age of 16 and was fully gray by the age of 22.

I am now in my late 30's and my gray hair is just really starting to P me off.

It is to the point where color will last about a week and it washes out fast, my hair won't hold the color anymore. Some of my gray hairs, even after colored will stand up straight, no matter how much I curl, put hair spray on and everything, I will not lay down straight.

I have done everything it says to keep color longer, that doesn't work.

I don't even like to color my hair anymore, I have to leave it on for almost an hour to make sure it is long enough, so it soaks into my hair.

I would love to just go au natural and let it go gray, but family says NO that it would age my by 10 years. They all call me grandma when I let it go.

Crap, I'm not even a mother and they're calling me grandma. Don't like it at all.

Sorry but just needed to vent.

See a good hair stylist that works with coloring hair. I have been coloring my hair since my late 20s and the only grey you see is where it grows out. I color it once a month and have never had any problems with it washing out.

I also noticed my first greys when I was in my late teens - started coloring my hair in my 20's - now in my 50's and have to color at least every 2-3 weeks - when my roots start showing - I hate it!! I've always had to leave the color on for at least an hour too and sometimes it never covers all the greys either - do find a good hair colorist/stylist - maybe they can help - although it does get expensive - I mostly do it myself - then go to somebody every few months for them to do a better job!!!

im 19 right now and i also have a lot of grey hairs. is there anyway to slow the greying? maybe so vitamins or a certain diet that would help? also, is it true that plucking them will only make them multiply?
