Is a bunion when a big toe hurts a lot, teder to the touch, kinda swollen out to the side? It hurts bad at times, and I was wondering about bunions.

A bunion is definitely a bone deformity with the great or big toe turning in toward the second toe, sometimes even over or under the second toe. It can be painful or not. If you are having pain your best bet would be to consult a podiatrist or an onthopedic doctor.
