Though loss of sleep is a common seizure trigger, I've noticed that my last three seizures occurred after a GOOD night's sleep that was preceded by several consecutive bad nights' sleep (I'm on Trileptal, a side effect of which is insomnia). Has anyone else had this experience? I'm told that migraines--which have some relation to seizures--often occur during a relieved, relaxing period following a tense, stressful period.

It might not be because of the good nights sleep, but the bad nights sleep finally catching up with you.

Yes, it is the bad nights sleep catching up with you. I have had this same thing happen to me all the time.
God Bless,
