Hello All!

Wow it's so good to find a group to talk about this with. I was on the birth control pill until July of 2006 so I didnt' have periods at all for a few years. When my blood pressure started going up my ob/gyn took me off the pill. Since then I have had irregular periods. The one I am on now came 43 days after the last one. I experienced symptoms of my period at 28 days but didn't actually start until the 43rd day. Changes....I do not want to use hormones if I can help it. Anyone else in that frame of mind?

I will be reading and enjoying this board everyday from now on.

Welcome to the board. Your body may take awhile to adjust to not taking the pill anymore. You will want to check with your doctor about your cycle. I was wacky with my periods after I stopped the pill. They eventually got better. T.
