I have sleep siezures, so I am still able to work. Recently, they have increased in number. I believe stress at work is a part of the trigger. Has anyone got any advice or experience with this? Did people have to switch to much easier lines of work, or change approach to the job, or what? I certainly want my siezures permanently gone.
Thanks to everyone here.

Yes stress can trigger seizures. A few weeks ago I was EXTREMELY stressed out and had three staring seizures in a single day (I rarely ever get them). When this happens I re-arrange my schedules, i get organized, i meditate. Hope you feel better!

I know that moments of stress often rest alongside my seizure activity. Have you tried exercise (running, riding a bike, swimming, yoga)? I know that doing yoga twice a week and running 6 has really helped me keep the stress level down. I also try to schedule regular 'flake out' times every day. Usually after work. I come home and watch _The Simpsons_ or read some silly book that doesn't challenge the brain too much.
I hope things work out...

I firmly believe that job stress can push a person clear to their seizure threshold... I have had two jobs in my life that I had to quit because the environment was so stressful that my seizures actually worsened throughout my employment. They weren't high-profile jobs, either. It was the people and the unnecessary pressure! As soon as I moved on, I was much, much better. If I hadn't lived through it, I wouldn't have believed it, but it's true.
My new mantra: No job is worth my health!
