Can anyone explain my LEEP results better than my doctor did? :-/ I'm still confused. The results read:
CIN-II EXTENDING TO INVOLVE ENDOCERVICAL SPECIMEN MARGINS; TRANSFORMATION ZONE PRESENT, WITH ENDOCERVICAL MARGIN APPEARING NEGATIVE.
Her recommendation was that I either 1) have a 2nd LEEP done right away or 2) go to an oncologist for a 2nd opinion. I'm opting to see the oncologist, just to be sure I don't have cancer or anything, though I still don't really understand the results. Then I started reading on here about people with CIN-III getting hysterectomies and stuff. I'm only 25, and I want to have kids in a few years. What are my chances of being able to do that after all of this?
Thanks and good luck to all of you.
