Is there a danger for someone having surgery with a high platelet count?:confused:

Platelets are responsilble for clotting your blood. Post op patients can have blood clots develop that are called DVT's (in leg) or pulmonary embolisms (in lung). I would think if your count was dangerously high your MD would discuss it with you, otherwise you should be fine.
