I have been having these headaches for a couple of weeks now. It starts off when i tense my muscles, like stretching for example.

My neck and head go into severe pain...so severe that i get dizzy and cannot function. I curl up in a ball, holding my head, and cry basically. It hurts in the back of my head, the top of my head, and my forehead. These sharp pains come in waves and ususally last for a few hours. Over the counter medicine does not help. I'll fidnally wear myself out and go to sleep. when i wake up, i have a horrible headache all over and can barely get through the day.

I went to my doctor and he said its just allergies! Im getting kind of worried. This cycle happens every few days, and it really hurts and makes me tired and irritable. i feel weak a lot of the time. what should i do? please help me. I'm a senior in high school and this is definatly damaging my year!

As well as seeking medical help

When you get a headache, take TWO ADVIL and at the same time TWO PERCOGESIC

Lay down, and put a heat bag on the tense muscle group/area, and try and relax.

Seeing a physiotherapist would be an extremely good idea.

The combination of Advil and Percogesic is quite safe, and works against the pain in 3 seperate ways, so can give a very good leval of pain relief.

It sounds like migraines. You should go to a neurologist. Good luck.

This isn't allergy related. See another Doctor asap. As for Migraines, its definitely a possibility as these can be very severe & intense.
