I went through menopause on March 11, 2004. funny how you remember the date. that was my last period. finally all the hor flashes, night sweats all of it is gone. It took 2 full years but it's gone. my question is this. It appears that every month around the 11th and for a couple of days I swear I am PMS. all the signs. irritated, bloating, cravings, fatigue, etc. it only lasts a couple of days but I was wondering if anyone else goes through this. It feels exactly as it did for years right around period time. ????

Although I'm not at that point, yet, on this peri ride I've read about women having this same experience. I also have a friend who had a hysterectomy over 10 years ago who also experiences something similiar to what you mentioned. She said it's almost as if she still has her ovaries although she knows they are gone.

Hopefully, other women will reply who have first hand knowledge. :)
