We have had posts asking what type of seizures, what type of meds we are on, and I was just curious how often everyone was experiencing their seizures. Hope I'm not getting to personal, just curious (see how normal I am http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/tongue.gif)
When they first began two years ago (out of the blue) I was having them almost everyday or every other. Now I have them average of every ten days. I got my meds uped recently so I'm hoping it will spread alittle further!! Anyways thats me ten days is my best!

Hey Lisa,
What a good topic. I am just like you!! I was having my seizures 3 to 4 times a week witch is every other day and sometimes twice a day. Reciently I have made it to ten days free but I can't seem to break that. I am on new meds and was given more new meds yesterday. Lets see if I can go past ten days. Lets have a contest Lisa...Lets see who can pass the ten days first. The winner gets a hug and the looser gets a hug too. Virtual hugs of course ((())). We can cheer eachother on. I am rooting for you even though we are in a contest. I am sure you will be rooting for me also. (This is all just silly by the way).
My longest is ten days and that seems to be what it is lately. I rarely have them twice a week now. YAY!!
God Bless and thanks for this post,
KittyMom

Hi Lisa,
My seizures average about four months apart. My meds. have been changed again so I hope we can stretch the span even farther! Kathy

My daughter had her first seizure (grand mal) June of 2001, another six weeks later, then was seizure free till Feb. of this year. She had the one in Feb, one in May, one in June. I guess she has bee kinda "lucky" that she doesnt have them very often.

Jon has 1 sometimes 2 a day. He has gone for 2 days in a row though not having one. Will be interesting to see how the meds affect this.
