I was on antibiotics last month when I had my wisdom teeth removed. The oral surgeon didn't seem to know what he was talking about when I asked him about the antibiotics interfering with BC, so I did some online research. The kind of antibiotic I took was known to affect BC, and I also read that you should use a back-up method for at least 7 days after finishing the antibiotic/wait until starting your new cycle.

Although it was after 7 days, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend the week of my period (obviously, right before my new cycle). Should I be concerned about pregnancy? :confused: :(
