BUT I will ask it anyways haha and I'm sorry if I should know this!

I used to have high blood pressure and I was on 50mg of Tophrol to treat it. However, I've recently lost a lot of weight and because I lost weight my BP is pretty regular now (about 125/80) and I'm off the medicine completely. My question is, the other day I was filling out a health form and one of the questions asks if I have high blood pressure. It's no... right? This is a no brainer I'm sure but I was a little confused, because I used to have high bp but at the current time I don't. So that's no, right? I feel really stupid asking this but I wasn't sure!

I'd say NO HYPERTENSION if you can currently test below 140/90 without any meds.

Remember---there is no such thing as a stupid question!!! I would say no to hypertension unless they were asking if you had a "history" of it.

Actually, there is a such thing as a stupid question. It's the one that is never asked. You asked, so its no longer a stupid question. I usually leave it blank, so it forces the doctor to question me, then I explain the history. If it is not doctor related form or form for medical/ dental treatment. then the answer is no, you do not have high bp.
