I am doing a sunday start for my pills, but I got my period this morning. So, do I start the pills today or do I wait for next Sunday?

I would wait and start them next Sunday.

thats fine. that happend to me when i first started the pill. it means you have double- the first day and sunday start.
technincally i believe that you DONT have to wait a week to be insured protection from pregnancy. but i would always double up just incase if you are sexually active.

if your still unsure, read your directions/pamphlet (it talks about this situation occuring) , and you will be reasured :)

I would actually start today. The usual options are: Sunday start, Day-1start, or Day-5 start.

If you start today, you will be getting the first-day and Sunday start. If you wait until next Sunday, that will be seven days later, and that one usually isn't an option. I'm pretty sure if you read your instruction packet, it will say "If your period starts on a Sunday, begin taking your pill that day."

If you're not planning on having unprotected sex anytime soon, then it doesn't really matter. But if you are, then I wouldn't go without backup for a while anyway. Personally, I never relied solely on the pill for protection and I have trouble understanding why so many girls are in such a hurry to have unprotected sex. The pill isn't 100 percent effective, there's always that chance. And since I've been posting on here, I've read about 5 different women who got pregnant while on the pill.

Anyway, sorry for going on a tangent there, but like I said, if you're not going to have unprotected sex for a while, then it doesn't really matter if you start today or a week from today.
