Hello! Im in high school and I'm in a sport so every morning i eat two pieces of toast for breakfast, a cereal bar, and some orange juice. I bring my lunch to school which usually consists of a pb&j and some chips and maybe chocolate milk. then i run about 3 miles after school, go home, and eat a BIG dinner. And the same thing happens the next morning. But when it comes to weekends, I'm usually home all the time and when I'm bored I will snack on little things all day, and I'm not very consistent on my exercising on the weekends, either. If I'm not snacking around all day, it's because I went out to eat and ate ALOT of food. So i was just wondering if I should change anything or if what I'm doing is okay. I am VERY health conscious so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah and one more thing..i drink ALOT of water.

That's good you drink plenty of water! I was going to recommend that if you didn't already. If I feel like I've been eating too much, I'll drink a glass of water before I eat and it usually fills me up quicker. I would say if you are worried about your weekend snacking, just try to keep healthy options around and junk food out of the way. Keep lots of fresh fruits and veggies around. Fruit seems to fill me up too. For a treat, I'll get strawberries and sprinkle a little bit of sugar over them. I enjoy it more than candy. Also make sure you eat enough protein.. the peanut butter in your sandwich will give you protein, but make sure you eat more than just that. I was seeing a nutritionist because I put on a little weight and wanted to lose it and didn't realize I was eating not enough of ANY of the food groups, but the most of carbs. Make sure you are really balancing what you eat and try to eat some more of the ones you are missing out on. Oh and just a little tip to make lunch even healthier for you.. buy baked chips instead of regular. I used to always eat Baked Lays with a turkey sandwich for lunch. I would buy the little bag b/c if I eat out of a large one I would accidentally eat too many!
