My 11 year old son has coalition in his ankle. About 90 days ago he completed his casting but he still has some pain. We have a Dr. appointment in a couple of weeks. I have been reading on the web about resectioning. Has anyone had a child that has went through with this surgery? He is very active and wants to return to all of his sports (football, baseball, and basketball). Is resectioning the best way to go?
