Today, I was working in the kitchen, then all of a sudden I started to make a step and it felt like I was walking on an air cushon, just the left leg, and arm had a strange feeling also...hard to put into words, but it eventually went away. Should I be concerned? The only thing that I feel right now is a slight pain in my left kidney..low back. At the time this all happened I couldn't walk straight, and had to lie down for awhile.
What do you think this could have been?
Thank You
Kathy

Sounds like a TIA. You can never tell what it was until you get evaluated. Call you primary physician and let them know.

You should be talking to a doctor first and the computer writing second.
I had a car accident almost 2 years ago. They rushed me to the ER. While I was there, I lost my speech for about 5 minutes then it came back. I told the doctor I can't see out of my left eye. They looked and said it looked fine (I was 34 at that time so I look so young). They sent me to get x-rays (broken hand also). 4 hours later I could move my right side. They rushed me to CT and found there was blood in my brain.
Over all of that, I had a bilateral dissection by hitting the airbag by a headon car accident. My left eye came back but that was all the blood was in my brain and that was why I could see. I had a stroke in my speech/language/comprehension area and have sensation problems on my whole right side (I can walk now). I still do speech therapy and I can't work anymore (36 now).
If you know the warnings about a stroke (headaches/speech/blurring etc..), you need to get look after now. The sooner the better.
I feel that I would have had the stroke but if it was looked after sooner, I may not as bad as it is now.
(sorry about my writing, I try)
