seriously, i don't know what to blame my behavior on lately! :dizzy: i am having mirena removed tomorrow so i am anxious to see how my depression/anxiety/eating habits change. i have gained over 20 lbs since mirena went in last summer but over the past 2 months, i can't seem to get the food shoveled in my mouth fast enough! my "pms" comes about every 2 weeks? maybe it's the sadd thing? (seasonal depression). i already am taking zoloft and wellbutrin. i can't imagine taking something else! i can have my own pharmacy at home! LOL!

so i guess what i am asking is if anyone else has this kind of depression/anxiety/eating habits on birth control? to the point that you feel totally out of control!

It's not uncommon on hormonal birth control. I had the same thing happen to me on Ovcon 35. I gained 20 lb. in 1 month (most of it water weight) but I was also extremely hungry--never ever full no matter how much I ate. Plus, I was very moody and anxious and feeling depressed, woke up daily on the verge of tears. My mood and sex drive improved about 1-2 months off the pill; I've lost about 10 lb. now (my cycles are still screwy 7 months off the pill), and finally, at 6 months off the pill, I noticed my appetite decreased a lot (I get full again!).

Tinytoes! Please let me know how it goes when you get your mirena out! I'm going through the exact same thing you are going through, I thought I was alone and nobody understands.. I've had mirena in about a year, have gained some weight, I bleed all the time and I'm pmsn too and the last few months I don't want to do anything but stay in bed. So I'm with you, I don't know if this has anything to do with the weather or its all the raging hormones... Let me know how it goes.. :) Fullhouse03

 Hi Tinytoes, I'm so glad that you are okay.. I just made an appt. today to get mine out on Feb. 5th. So please let me know in the next few weeks if you lose some weight or your mood swings get any better? I'd like to know if it helped you by getting it out? Is it normal to bleed after you get mirena removed? I'm really nervous to get mine out, wondering if its the right decision or not because it took my body 4 months to get used to it and I went through a lot of pain in the beginning because the positon of my uterus I guess? I've had mine about a year. Thanks for replying.. And I'm glad you are doing ok. fullhouse03 :)
