i find that exercising helps, while i'm exercising and usually for a while afterwards the TMJ symptoms go away. the problem is it doesnt seem to be a permanent cure, they still return later.

I have noticed when I'm exercising, my jaw is always in a relaxed position and after I'm through exercising, my headaches are usually gone too...

My head always feels like it is in a vise or head lock grip - any movement to it and the pain intensifies and I get sick to my stomach. I wish exercise was the anwser since I have exercised most of my entire life - up until 3 yrs ago. I can't imagine me getting on a tread mill or doing step aerobics at this point - I am lucky that I still do leg stretches on the floor and some arm rotations.
