Hi,

I went up in the attic to check a few things and kick-up some insulation.I really didn't feel like anything got into my eye. A few days later, my eyes started burning, had swelling, redness, and pain. I went to the opthomologist and was presribed Tobradex. THat seemed to help with the burning and pain, but can't seem to get rid of the redness and swelling. Any advice would be helpful..

My fiance had the same thing happen, except that it was with paint. He didn't even feel the paint get in there at first, but then a few days later he started having the exact same symptoms you did. He went in to the eye doctor and was also prescribed Tobradex, but the doctor also scraped the paint out of his eye first. He applied an anesthetic and then just scraped it out. Maybe that's the extra step you need? (By the way, it sounds painful but he said he didn't feel it at all.)
