Please any advice, comment, suggestion will help Please!

Well, I had unprotected "relations" on the 16th but I have been on birth control about 7 months now...my problem is, is that I took ampinicillin for my flu today, they are only 128mg very light and I took two one at 8 in the morning and another at 4 in evening. I know that taking this decreases the effect of my birth control but my birth control was in full effect when I had "unprotected relations"...will the medicine interfere with my birth control? Can I be or get pregnant? should I think about the Morning after Pill?

no you have nothing to worry about. A study 20 years ago may have indicated that antibiotics may decrease the effectiveness of birth control, but a new study of 8058 women showed that that in the year 70 women got pregnant while they were also on some antibiotics (penicillian ampicillian, ect...) Thats only .87% which is about the 1% expected failer rate.

You should probably endeavor to use backup protection in the future just to be on the safe side whenever you are on antibiotics. I don't know which antibiotics are the ones that interefere with BC, I just know there are a few which render it pretty much useless. That's why the doctor usually (is supposed to) tells their patients to use backup protection for at least 7 days afterwards just to be on the safe side.

But you're a lot more brave then me, I'd never use my pill without a condom, and I was on the pill for a very, very long time. I didn't trust it. Not with how many people i've encountered both online and in real life who have gotten pregnant while on the pill. I didn't want to take that chance, personally.
