did anyone else read or hear about a new study that looks at statins and parkinson's? If I remember correctly, the researchers found a higher incidence of parkinson's disease associated with low LDL cholesterol.

They examined Parkinson's patients and found they had lower cholesterol. Those on statins actually tended to have LESS Parkinson's Disease. I think it was an interesting anomaly but really didn't signify much...several progressive diseases of aging show lowered serum cholesterol, most notably terminal cancer. |
