can anyone give me any info on this?
My 20 year old daughter was just diagnosed. Her PCP says maybe the report was read incorrectly..I sure hope so, dont like what I am reading about it online.
Thankx for any help,
scared MOM.

All I can say is that PULMONARY HYPERTENSION is a VERY severe disease.
I hope your daughter doesn't have it.

I have it (mild pulminary hypertension).. I have had it all my life; I am 60 now. It just caught up with me and I need oxygen most of the day. There ARE things that can be done for it... breathing exercises is one. Seek a real good puliminary doctor NOW (specialist). good luck

thanks for replying..
as it turns out, we took her to a new cardiologist and he said that prelimary reports indicate she does not have it! personally I think the technician who wrote up the report, may have mixed them up. i only fear that someone else has been told they have a healthy heart and are in desperate need of treatment

I'll say..I just never really believed she could have such a thing..she is a healthy young lady..she exercises and even runs on the treadmill, spent years on the track team, it just didn't fit.
I can breathe again!! hooray!
thankx
