Hi Molly,

I totally understand what you are saying. Your friend has led a great life and we all can only hope to see 96. My Husband is going to be 55 in March, never been on any medication and doesn't want to be on any meds, but everytime he goes for his physical, he gets nervous (White Coat Syndrome) and the doctor always makes him nervous so his pressure soars, but after we leave I check it and he is fine, and the doctor always wants to put him on meds.
Well he had to go for his physical the other day and she said he wa in GREAT SHAPE, EKG great, his heart & lungs great, but she got a high reading so she would not give him his DOT Medical Card. I took it when he cam e home and it was normal. So she made him get a monitor for 24 hours, and when he thought about it, it went up, but for the most part it was normal, so I hope she leaves him alone and gives him his card. It is like all she wants to do is give him medication he don't need. If they are HEALTHY it should be "LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE"

Please do not pull up a 2-year-old post.
