Thanks in advance. Sponsor nicky2005 01-20-2007, 10:30 PM I dont know how long it takes to absorb but if you are giving it for fever and if the fever does not go down you can try using supposetries. I beleieve they are very effective. Check with your doctor! meechieny 01-21-2007, 05:44 PM Oh, I would be sure to use a suppository. What happens to us is when they have a cold/virus, not a stomach bug and have a low-grade fever (below 101) we want to give them Motrin to make them more comfortable at night and they throw that up. It is either because they don't want to take "medicine" and it's a protest or it upsets their stomach even though we have given them it along with food. I certainly don't want to give them a suppository if I don't have to. I'm just wondering how long does it take to be absorbed- 15 minutes? thought someone might know and I don't have to call the -doctor-on-call over the weekend. Thanks LisaFaith 01-22-2007, 12:17 PM I think it takes about 20-30 minutes. |
