Didn't know how else to describe the noise my hands make when I massage them or stretch them. My hands are the first thing I noticed pain in years ago and have always made cracking sounds along with all my joints, but it's just recently that this new sound has come up. Sounds like your smashing a cookie on the ground with your heel. Kind of worries me, when there's a change like this. I'm afraid things may be getting worse. Anybody else have this?

i have this in some areas and have run into the word Crepitus. It is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints.
i especially have it in my mid back between my shoulders.
hope this helps,
robin
