For the last few days i have been getting chest pains, not terribly bad, but enough to wonder whats causing it. I have been taking vitamins for awhile now, and on the last two or three weeks i increased the dosage i was taking of biotin. I was wondering if anayone has had some side-affects from it? I am not taking any other medication, so could it be biotin?

I have been taking biotin for months with no side effects. I've read thatthere are no side effects from biotin and that it is non-toxic.

I'v never heard of side effects from Biotin.
Then again, maybe your body just doesn't react well to it.

A little known side effect of Biotin toxicity is chest pains. Biotin can also cause a flushing effect, however there are now Biotin supplements available that report to curb that side effect.

What dosage of Biotin are you taking? 30mcg is the recommended daily intake.
