I have recently had a blocked left ear which when consulting my doctor I had it syringed. Before I saw the doctor my ear was completely deaf for 2 days. On the first day I had a numb face, which seemed to be around the left cheek and eye area. When I had my ear syringed the numbness did not go away. The doctor said I had an infection of the Eustachian Tube. I have been on anti-inf's and antibiotics. It as been a I have just finished my antibiotics and my face is still numb. The numbness gets worse sometimes.
I have always had some sort of pressure problem in this ear especially when in the gym and out in the cold. When the ear "pops" its like talking with a really bad cold.

Everytime i tap the left side of my face it almost echoes in my ear, it does not do the same on the right side.

Can anyone suggest what is wrong with me and if anyone has had this problem with a numb side of the face. I am 100% sure the numbness is from the ear proble as the both arised on the same day.

Look forward to any responses. Thanks
