I am currently on Yasmin and have been for almost a year. I see alot of threads saying how antibiotics hinder the process of the birth control pill. I was just wondering if anti inflammatory medications such as ibuprophen would have the same effect. I am asking this because the other day I took two pills of ibuprophen to help a headache I was having. Looking back I'm not sure how smart that was without finding out if it harms the birth control. If anyone can help me out it would be great. Thanks!

You're fine, ibuprofen, aspirin, none of those things affect it. The only OTC med. I've heard you shouldn't take with the pill is St. John's Wort.
