Since yesterday Ive been having pain in the FRONT of my neck. The pain isnt in the throat but it feels like as if it is in the muscles of my neck. Basically the pain occurs randomly and that any given time during any different activity. The pain lasts for a few seconds. I really cant describe it. Sometimes its like a shooting pain and others almost tingling. I am really afraid and I dont know what to do.

Could it be

Cancer?
Nerve damage?
Muscle Strain?

Ive never had a problem like this before...i dont know where to turn....

Thyroiditis produces that kind of pain. You should see a doctor for a diagnosis.

hi John,

Sounds like it could be a muscle thing, do you posture? or
seemed to be nervousz? Could it be the way you sleep? Any lumps in your neck?

Not everyone gets cancer, do you smoke? 85% of cancers are caused by smoking. Dont worry

Im no doctor trya heated neck wrap, smething cold helps too cold then hot alternate them.
good luck!
