Yesterday I had my neck checked out by a CT to be sure nothing is wrong in there , my surgeon did an xray and said it looked ok . But being that it's been hurting for 6 months my PM Dr. thought a CT was in order. So I'll know Friday more on the extent of my injury. It's probably nothing , BUT I always like to be sure , expecially after my lower back injury.

Do you think it could be just over-use because they are compensating for your back? I am finding that there are some poor muscles that over work themselves at the top of my hardware and also down low. Martyr muscles, that's what they are.

Got my fingers crossed that all is OK.

Funny , back in June I was mowing my lawn with my john deere tracter and was under our deck and got my head stuck between the joices and mower:eek: . I about ripped my head off . But it's been hurting since.

I just read a post on another site about this person who can't wear jewlery
because their skin turns color's , mine does to , I can't wear any metal. ANYWAY this person said her Dr. said thats why her hardware is causing her pain . Could this be my case also ? Maybe all it is, is a reaction from my hardware ? Shoule I mention this to my Dr. ? He's going to think I'm crazzier than he already does :dizzy:

Let's face it. We're all somewhat warped to have done this in the first place. How can they think we're crazy? If so, so are they becuase we paid them! How's that for warped logic?

You know, at this point I would mention it. Do you know what kind of metal they put in you? Mine is titanium. I know that my doctor just switched to that before he started with my surgery. You could be having a reaction to the metal because it is a foreign body inside of you. Sound like something from the gremlins, doesn't it?

What can it hurt? If nothing else, you will have provided him with his chuckle of the day....

hand in there! the weather is acting up here and so is my back. too bad no one bothered to tell me about this part of the recovery...

They used the same on me titanium everything , Gremlins..I loved that movie , my daughter and I watched it houndreds of times :) Yeah I will mention that to him . Well I have a gremlin inside my belly growling for somthing to eat so I'll see ya later on here.

My neck has been hurting ever since I did this , I even get pain up the back of my head and my left hand goes numb more than ever , it just has me payronoid is all . I think everything should be ok, I'll know tomorrow.

I hope your test results come out good. When I had my cervical problem, my left hand would go numb and my upper arm would hurt, kinda like someone punched me there.

Thanks Bernie ,i don't think it's serious , I just want to be sure it isn't. It's more like a stiff neck and hurts a little to turn right or look up ? My back is worse than that by far , I can tell it's snowy today my back is hurting a tad more. Thanks for the prayers. :) Hi Shawley,
