Hi all,
whenever i use body spray my underarms area starts feeling itchy and unless i take some tablets i cant feel ok.

Is there any way to get rid off the itch without stopping the use of body spray as it smells if i do not use the spray ?:

The only thing I can think of that might be causing you to itch when you use the body sprays is that most, if not all, body sprays contain alcohol (I think) which can dry out your skin which then can become itchy. Couple that with the time of year (winter) and the way our skin reacts to winter by getting dry, flakey and itchy, and you have just made a recipe for discomfort. My suggestion would be to hydrate your skin really well before you apply the body spray by using baby oil or a body lotion after you get out of the shower or even before you get out of the shower and before you dry off. Experts say that if you use a moisturizer like baby oil on your skin while your skin is still wet it can help lock in moisture and leave your skin smoother. I would imagine that it only takes a little bit rubbed in really well so as not to leave you feeling greasy or oily. Anyway, you might wait a little while to let the scent of the oil or lotion tone down before you apply the body spray. Or, if the spray you use comes in a lotion as well, use the same scent lotion as spray.

That is my best advice. But, to get it to stop for sure, you really should stop using the spray at least through the winter as I can't say for sure that lathering up with a lotion or baby oil will definitely help combat the dryness the spray is causing.

Take care and keep in touch.

Have you tried something else? I assume you mean a spray deodorant when you say body spray. You might try something in a stick.

Thanks so much for your replies.

By Body Spray i mean Deodrant Spray. No I did not try the Deodrant Sticks. I think that might not have such Itching effect as these deodrant sprays.
I had read the content of the body sprays. Yes it has the Alcholol in good volume, i guess that is what causes the skin to itch.

I will try out with the sticks and moisturizer as well.
Once thanks for all your help. :blob_fire
I appreciate.
