Misty800 01-24-2007, 01:29 PM Hmmm.....did not know any doctors were still diagnosing "rheumatism" these days, they usually say a person has Fibromyalgia, another term used for it. Rheumatism is inflammation and I currently take an anti-inflammatory med called "Limbrel", a medical health food which is FDA approved and by prescription only. It is working great. I can now enjoy life again. It is not a cure but definitely a bigggg....help. In a few days after starting Limbrel I thought it was helping but not sure. In 2 weeks there was no question that it was working. In 3 months it definitely had changed my life for the better. Limbrel does not bother my stomach, in fact it is taken on an empty stomach. Now, having said the above, I have no clue whether Limbrel may be causing other health problems for me or not, it is a new med on the market and only time will tell. Limbrel is claimed to be safe and no side effects. So far my search has not turned up anything stating otherwise. Insurance companies balk at paying for Limbrel, just keep after them, cause about 75% of insurance companies do pay for it. It is a necessary prescription , no generic and should be covered. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!! |
