Has anyone heard of this? I am a 46 year old male and a 20 year weightlifter. I am only 5"8" 200lbs so no giant but I am quite muscular. Have noticed that some time in the last year, and maybe quite recently, my navel is now 1/4" skin bubble outward! I am not sure because I don't study it much:) It was an inny my whole life as far as I know. Is this common? The abdomen isn't really tender but certainly doing deep and heavy squats on the smith machine, I can feel it. Instability or soreness as oppoosed to real pain.
Any point in working the abs to control this? I kind of got away from the crunches the last couple of years relying on yoga but that isn't a muscle builder.
If I put my finger on it and push like I was trying to break wind it pressures up. I have nothing to compare it to. Is this normal? Thanks for any responses.
