my friend just called and asked if i would bring him some advil for pain, and some diet sunkist, he is a diabetic. he sounds pretty sick, he said he has coughed some much his head is hurting really bad. what can i bring him, hot tea, chicken broth? it sounds like maybe bronchitious to me and short of the emergency room and antibiotics, what can you do for someon? he sounds like his head is stopped up... any advice is greatly appreciated! thanks

Best thing to do is get him to a doctor for proper diagnosis. If he does have bronchitis it can go into pneumonia real quick. Those with diabetes Type 1 or Type 2 usually will have very high blood sugar numbers due to an illness. This is something that needs to be watched, test frequently, etc.

You are right, broth and tea should be o.k. for him.
