Hello People new here, happy to find you!
I have injection induced sciatic nerve injury from a demoral shot in my butt. Does anyone know if this is common, I have had pain now for a 18 months from the injection site to pain shooting down my leg and burning,:blob_fire If I push on where I got the shot it feels like the needle is still in there. How long might this last? Could this have been avoided. That's for any help. Ann

I had this once from a narcotic shot for a migraine but mine only lasted a week. This definitely could have been avoided. They gave you the shot in the wrong place. If they actually hit the nerve and not just injected next to it they could have done permanent damage. A pain specialist could probably help.

Thanks for your thoughts. This same thing happened 25 years ago but it lasted about a year, this seems to be getting worse not better.
