This started about 15 years ago and it is ruining my life and career.
I have an almost paralyzing fear during meetings or other events where I feel trapped that I have to pee. Even if I just went, within about 20 minutes, I feel like I have to go again. It is almost paralyzing.
If I am not under pressure...for instance when hunting...I can manage it.
I thought it might be a confidence issue of some sort but I am not sure now. My son is developing an OCD like fear of peanut butter and I have been doing some reasearch into and and am starting to wonder.
Thanks,
OC9

it doesn't really sound like OCD to me.....more like a general anxiety disorder or something like that

I agree with RoseQuartz, it sounds more like social anxiety disorder to me than OCD. If you're anxious about being in meetings or around people, your body will do some strange things to get you out of those situations, like make you think you have to go to the bathroom. Obviously if you go to the bathroom, you remove yourself from a situation that may be causing anxiety. I would recommend talking to your PCP and asking him if a light dose of an SSRI would benefit you.:D
