I was just wondering if some of you would share some of the things that you have found to be triggers that set off your Fibro, so that some of us can watch for those things, as they could be triggers for us too.
I've noticed that when I drink soda (I love pepsi) I feel so sluggish and just... blah. I also know that I can't have MSG because it gives me migrains.
I know that everyone is different but I'd just like to hear from you.

hi michelle,
stress is a huge trigger. be it joy or worry. foods do not set me off. life can tho. like right now i am going thru alot of tests. ten years ago this would have set off a flare. knowing that stress is my trigger i focus on the good in my life and the joy instead of the stuff i have to do. i have to do this, it is my body and my responsibility to keep it balanced. so i do it, but i do not make it the center of my thoughts.
there are others here who are set off by excess carbs, caffiene, cold, heat, over exertion. it is so individual this goodie we call fibro. tailor made for each of us.
mostly what i realized over the years is sometimes it simply comes. no triggers, just here. i don't let it get me down. i just give my body rest and do my exercises to keep from freezing up and causing even more pain. i know it will pass. it always does.
peace,

My triggers are weather changes, inadequate sleep, too much exercise, stress, and aspartame.
