i took an overdose of valium, zopiclone (lunesta), and trazodone (desryl) in september, i didnt tell anyone. i am very worried i damaged my memory though and gave myself brain damage.
anyone have experience with overdoses of sleeping pills?? (and not had their tum pumped?)
my doc doesnt realise i took the overdose though he knew i was acting weird, he just thought it was i needed more medicine. at this point i just walk around like a zombie! i know i react quite strongly to meds. people think i am just depressed because it looks like i have no emotion, but i dont think meds will give me my emotions back, will they??
i know i messed my liver but thats getting back to normal. will my brain ever get back to normal?? i am very scared.

Why did you take an overdose? Do you feel like you would take another? or has this situation made you realise that it isnt the answer?
If you are seriously concerned about your health due to the overdose have you considered speaking to your doctor and telling him/her that you have taken this overdose? Dont be embaressed they are there to help and may be able to get you further treatment that isnt in the form of a medicine, this may help to show you that there isnt any lasting effects and may help you to move on and get over your current issues?
