I weighed myself on Monday morning and then I weighted myself today. My scales say I am down 2 lbs since monday is that possible. My diet has been pretty good this week and I just started doing cardio again so far I have logged in 10 miles on the treadmill. 15 minute miles. Next week I will add weight training also. I have set my goals at 3lbs so I would only have one more lb to reach that goal. I'm not going to weight myself again till Monday that will actually be one week and I'll see what that says. 2 lbs just seems like a lot in 5 days.

It's definitely possible, but keep in mind that on low carb diets, you tend to lose some retained water in the beginning (carbohydrates bond to water in the body so fewer carbs, less water). So some of the loss is probably fat and some is probably water. It's a good sign though. Keep it up. :)

I can't even pay attention to the scale until it gets beyond 5 lbs. ! I could lose 2 lbs in a day and gain 3 back the next day. I think we tend to fluctuate a few pounds day to day in water alone. Makes me nuts!

I agree. The two pound weight loss is probably just normal fluctuation. What I do is weight myself every morning, then average my weight over a week. I think that gives me a much more accurate measure of how I am doing.
