I was supposed to get my period on Tuesday. I had some light bleeding Tuesday and Wednesday and then on Thursday it stopped and I have not bleed since. I'm on the pill and have not missed any days. I've never been this late before and I've been on the pill for about 4 years. I just started a new brand of pills similiar to my old brand and it's been 3 months on the new brand. I am going to take a home pregnancy test tomorrow, but even if it comes out negative is there still a chance I'm pregnant? I should be starting my new pack of pills this sunday. Should I go ahead and start my new pack, or not take it and see if my period comes? Any advice would be awesome. Thanks guys!

That sometimes happens. I wouldn't worry. Just go ahead and start the new pack on time....unless, of course, the test shows you are pregnant.

You didn't say what brand you were using? Loestrin and most of the generics for it are known for causing a woman to not have a period. Sometimes Orthotricyclen does that as well.

So which one are you using?

I'm on Microgestin Fe 1/20. I was on Loestrin for a few years before I switched to Microgestin.
