Hey guys... So you know how treadmills and all those have a thingy that tells you how many calories you've supposedly burned... How accurate are they? I've heard that they overestimate how many you've actually burned... So if it says I burned 200, should I guesstimate that I've burned half of that? Three-quarters of that?
ALso... how accurate are they with mileage.. I'm guessing thats more likely to be more accurate.

Distance is pretty accurate, but the calorie gauges are usually higher than you are actually burning. It's hard to say how high, since they are all a little different (usually no higher than say 30%), but online calculators may be more helpful (and honest).
