View Full Version : Is there such a thing as an IBS clinic?

I find that most doctors and specialists are only concerned with treating the big diseases like cancer, crohn's and colitis. It's like once they determine you don't have something life threatening, they can't understand why you aren't just happy to know you're not dying and expect you just to deal with it, without offering much guidance to relieving symptoms. I was wondering if there are any clinics that specifically treat people with IBS.

In Seatttle there is the IBS Treatment Center by the Innate Health Group.
It seems quite expensive and they don't take insurance you have to bill your insurance yourself. I would love to go but don't have the money as I am still a college student.
