I am so stressed at work and home...what do you find to be the best way to destress. I would love lots of ideas so I can try several.
Blessings!

Try deep breathing exercises. Google the subject and you will find plenty of helpful information on the subject. Try a variety of them and see what works best for you. Good luck.

Aerobic exercise is great for frustration release & endorphin boost.

Breathing exercises -- very helpful. See if your local public library has a copy of the CD set Breathing, by Andrew Weil, MD, the integrative med doc. The 1st CD in the set is fascinating, as Weil describes historical & ethnic uses of breathing for stress reduction, as well as medical/physiological implications. The second CD has some simple paced breathing exercises to follow along with. I highly recommend it!

Weil also has a CD set on visualization, which can also be used in stress reduction. I do use vis. myself, however I haven't listened to his CD. But most of his stuff is pretty interesting.

There is really no substitute for analyzing one's sources of stress & devising a plan to eliminate stress where possible, or streamlining to reduce stress. Sometimes a visit with a counsellor is helpful, but practical investments, say in a little household help, can be just as useful.

Best wishes.
