I posted a question before about problems burping. Thanks to the people who responded. I'm confused though. I'm not sure i have Acid Reflux/GERD. I will say it runs in my family though. From time to time I do have indigestion. Occasionaly I get the acid coem up/heartburn etc...For the past 3 days it's been more like an air bubble trapped in my throat...now i know they say that soda is bad for it, but once i drank it and it caused a big burp (which i wanted) but i stil felt like air was trapped....What should I be doing?...Should I start taking Apple Cider Vinegar?...Or just take the mylanta/gas X that the pharacist recommended. someone here posted to drink baking soda with water...will that cause more acid...?:(

For a temporary fix, you could try a little baking soda in water. It might help to calm things down. I wouldn't go straight to apple cider vinegar. I've tried it and it helps me, but I've also heard horror stories. I don't use it all the time. Or... You could also try DGL. They're chewable tablets and, in my opinion, taste awful, but I've had good luck with them.
