hi, a friend of mine has had a stroke or possible TIA's located by the scan on the back of the head area (possible brain stem episode). This friend who had previously 20/20 vision has now blurring at longer distances and double vision in one eye. Also he now has a slight stutter he never had prior to the stroke event and numbness to some areas in his legs.

My friend also has had a trial test carried out where a sort of cage-like contraption is put around his head. For what purpose I do not know, would appreciate some enllightenment.

Has anyone of you had the above after-effects with this type of stroke or as it maybe TIA and if so, can you provide me with more information as this would be really appreciated.

For myself, I have had multiple TIA's over 13 years ago but now am relatively clear.

Thanks in advance of you replying.
