I am pumping exclusively, and the baby is only bottle fed. As a result washing bottles is a major chore and it takes a long time. I also got the micro wave sterlizer. However, this doesn't save much time cleaning the bottles with soap and water. I use Avent and Dr.Brown bottles and there are also pumping accessories that I need to wash.
Any ideas on faster and effeicient cleaning?

I always put my Avent bottles and nipples in the dishwasher. Mine has an anti-bacteria/sterilization cycle.

Bottle brushes work well too. I had a lot of bottles to pump into and would just run water into them till I had a number to wash and then run a sink full of really hot soapy water and wash them all at once. As for the pump, I washed it each time and once every few days I'd sterilize it too. The hospital told me it didn't need sterilized each time.
I can totally sympathize as I exclussively pumped with #1 for 7 months.
Good luck to you!!!
