I've been swimming twice this week. I would have expected it would have made the asthma worse, after all it is very humid in the pool area. On the contrary I have actually felt the best while I am swimming. When I go out into the cold then it all begins all over.
Thanks again

Cold air will trigger an attack. Even though I use my albuterol before I jog, if it's very cold out I have to wear a bandana over my mouth.

When I was first told I was asthmatic the doctors recommended I swim lots to increase my lung capacity. I find the chlorine in the pools makes my breathing worse, but a lot of people find swimming beneficial.

Yeah. I'm allergic to chlorine so swimming is out but the jogging has helped.

I have to say perfumes smoke and other odors make me sick but I'm happy to say I do feel good while I'm swimming.
I am unable to jog or do much in the way of aerobic exercizes on the land but it's easier in the water.
I have MS and dysautonomia so those things are not for me though I do walk when my legs allow me to. I last about 5 min on th estationary bike and my legs giveout. I am in physical therapy so hopefully I will get more strength to do more.
Thanks everyone
