OK ,it is time for me to change my workout. My present workout is Mon- Thurs, cannot work out on Fri, Sat, or Sunday because of obligations. I work out a 5 am to around 6 am or shortly thereafter. Three exercises, three sets per muscle, some cardio- Day 1 - Chest, Day 2 Back, Day 3 - arms , Day 4 - Legs, rest for 3 days. Have been doing 12, 10, 8 reps, Usually end with failure when doing the last set. All along, I have mixed it up. Some days I may have done Legs on Day 1, for example. Have been steadily increasing weight each week. Any suggestions? Thanks folks, you have helped me with your great knowledge for the last 5 or 6 months. I really do enjoy talking to you. AML, Paperclip, Just2Built - your knowledge and patience is to be commended. Being a Physical Education teacher, I should know all of this. However, so much research has really changed bodybuilding. By the way, what city or state do reside? I live in a small town called Abbeville, SC.Rock

Your workout looks good. If you are getting stronger/bigger I wouldn't change it. I live in ontario Canada..

The keys to successfuly training are actually pretty simple:

train safe
train hard
train consistently

Those are the main things that all successful trainers have in common. It's not rocket science. The key to finding what works for you is to experiment, keep a training log and monitor your progress... all of which takes some time.
